This Week's Lesson: Fall Retreat 2021

Parents,
We had no regular Sunday morning program due to our Fall Retreat this week. The theme of the Fall Retreat was United: Many People. One Heart, One Lord. Our guest speaker taught through the story of the Prodigal Son from Luke 15. The core message was, if we are to be united and bring unity into our world, we must have the heart of the Father (demonstrated by the heart of the father in the parable). To continue the conversation at home with your student, please ask the following questions (these are the last questions in their retreat notebook):
One other question to discuss; How is Gospel unity different from the unity of the world and how can we, as a family, bring Gospel unity to the world around us?

- Why does He want you to know it?
- What does He want you to do (once you get back home)?
